Tool area set up for new JSF/ F-35 program. Computer program integration, new high-end tool stocking, labeling, etching, calibration control. Cabinet storage barcoding, PMEL tool issue, PMA computer Technical Order updating and upkeep. Hazardous Materials waste stream set up (initial) drum bonding, hazmat issue and inventory computer implementation.Trained as a hazardous materials first responder at the operations level for spills or release incidents, using the hazardous materials response guidebook. Flight line vehicle control to include: tugs, electric vehicles, E85 flex fuel trucks & vans. Spill kit implementation, Material Safety Data Sheet filing,posting., Safety striping , labeling. Measures materials issued and returned through Maintenance Hazardous Material Management System (HMMS) to document the amount of chemical used. Keeps supervisor informed and involved in issues pertaining to the operations. Maintains information and data (including development of database) to monitor, manage and control the use of HazMat and resulting by-products and waste.
