The company was founded in Bethesda, MD in 2013, to bring fresh, made-from-scratch organic breads, pastries, sweets, and croissant items inspired by bakeries in France to the DMV area. We have expanded to eight retail locations, two production bakeries, and a thriving wholesale business. We serve coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, and grocery stores with fresh products every day, 365 days a year.

About the role
- In this multifaceted role, you will work closely with our HR, Accounting, and Admin office to support essential operations.
What you"ll do
Bookkeeping & Payroll Support
- Assist with accounts payable/accounts receivable and expense tracking
- Bank reconciliations and data entry
- Help with the preparation of payroll and corresponding journal entries
- Coordinate with external accountants to resolve payment issues as needed
Recruiting Support
- Assist in placing job ads and promoting open roles
- Screen candidates and schedule interviews for hourly positions as needed to support our Recruiter (must be comfortable on the phone)
- Help with onboarding and preparing new hire paperwork
- Maintain applicant tracking and recruitment reports
Administrative & Office Support
- Manage office supply inventory and restocking
- Answer general inquiries via phone and email
- Handle filing, data entry, and general office support
Qualifications
- Experience in recruiting, payroll, bookkeeping, or administrative roles preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and office management systems
- Experience with bookkeeping or accounting software (QuickBooks Online preferred)
- High level of organization, discretion, and self-motivation
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor"s degree preferred
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn!
The pay range for this role is:
20 - 24 USD per hour(Fresh Baguette Rockville Center (Germantown))
