Anesthesiology Physician
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Regular 8 Pay Rate: $232.80 - $252.00

This facility is seeking 2 Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support for specific shifts.

  • Positions: 2 Locum Anesthesiologists (critical need)
  • Coverage Model: Rotating a full time call schedule
  • Call Requirements:
    • One physician on 24/7 call when covering (primarily OB, including nights/weekends)
    • Second physician covers general surgery and orthopedic cases
  • Coverage Dates needing 2 locums on at the same time:
    • June 9-10, 23-24
    • July 7-8, 21-22
    • August 4-5, 18-19
  • Licensure & Certifications:
    • Active Wyoming license or IMLC
    • Active WY DEA and CSR
    • ACLS, PALS/APLS, NRP required
  • Case Types:
    • Standard cases
    • Obstetrics
    • General surgery
    • Orthopedics
    • Urology
  • Case Mix / Practice Breakdown:
    • Adult: 90%
    • Pediatric: 2.5%
    • OB C-sections: 2.5%
    • Vaginal deliveries: 5%
  • OB Volume:
    • ~75 births per year
  • Schedule:
    • Hospital: Monday-Thursday, 7 AM-5 PM (10-hour shifts)
  • Call:

  • Monday-Thursday: 5 PM-7 AM
    • Friday-Sunday: 24-hour call
  • Skills Required:
    • Must be able to perform regional blocks
  • Call Response Requirement:
    • Not required to be in-house, but must be within 20 minutes of hospital
    • Optional in-house anesthesia sleep room available
