Role Description This is a part-time on-site role based in Carbondale, PA, for an Associate Veterinarian. The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care, including diagnosis and treatment. Surgical procedures for companion animals is encouraged, but not required for the role. Responsibilities include conducting physical exams, developing individualized treatment plans, maintaining medical records, collaborating with veterinary team members, and communicating with pet owners. The role also involves staying up-to-date with advancements in veterinary medicine and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and client education.

Qualifications Proficiency in veterinary medicine, including diagnosis, treatment and surgery for small animals Surgical and anesthetic proficiency for small animals. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members Commitment to continued learning, staying informed about advancements in veterinary practices Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Current veterinary license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania (or eligibility for licensure) Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent is required Interest in client education and dedication to improving the well-being of pets Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required
