Automotive Service Technician

We are currently seeking full-time Service Automotive Technicians with experience to join our team! We are looking for dependable, self-motivated, highly motivated individuals with a positive attitude and a great work ethic.

The applicant will be responsible for maintenance, repair, and installation services according to dealership standards. Attention to detail is critical.

*Duties Include:*

* Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
* Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and powertrains.
* Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
* Execute wheel alignments, calibrations, and suspension repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
* Use hand tools, power tools, and other specialized automotive tools to complete repairs with precision.
* Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify necessary repairs or maintenance tasks, ensuring safety standards are met or exceeded.
* Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, estimated timeframes, and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer service experience.

*Skills & Requirements:*

* Minimum of 3 to 5 years of dealership or service shop experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician preferred.
* Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics software.
* Strong mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues quickly and efficiently.
* Mechanical expertise in working with transmissions, diesel engines, powertrains, and general automotive repair.
* Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more, with flexibility to twist and slide under vehicles as necessary.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols during all service operations.
* Must be able to pass a drug screening test
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
