Branch Manager - Central California H&A Recruiter
A leading equipment dealership is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead its operations in a key Central California territory. This role will oversee a multi‑functional team focused on construction, agriculture, and industrial equipment sales, rentals, and service. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with proven business acumen, customer relationship skills, and a performance‑driven mindset.
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead all branch operations including sales, rentals, service, and parts to meet revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams
- Manage branch profit and loss performance and ensure alignment with company financial goals
- Oversee staffing, development, and performance of branch employees, identifying high‑potential team members and providing coaching and mentorship
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all departments
- Collaborate with internal leadership to execute company strategies and ensure alignment with corporate objectives
- Conduct regular customer site visits and ride‑alongs with sales team members
- Maintain facility standards, ensuring a clean, professional, and well‑maintained work environment
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities

Qualifications
- 5+ years of industry experience, preferably in heavy equipment, construction, or industrial machinery
- Prior experience managing branch operations or a cross‑functional team
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Proven track record of managing profit and loss statements and delivering business results
- Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills
- Working knowledge of service operations, product support, and equipment lifecycle
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree or equivalent experience preferred
