Overview

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented
Business Development Representative
to join our team. This role is hybrid, requiring 50% of the time in the local office. While most of the focus will be on the
NY Metro market
, you will also have the ability to sell
virtually across the United States
.

This position requires a
hunter mentality
with the ability to generate new business, build strong relationships with decision-makers, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through prospecting, lead generation, and upselling opportunities, while ensuring a smooth transition of new clients to our Client Services Group.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential clients through research, networking, and outreach (cold and warm).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners and C-level executives through personalized engagement.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to highlight the value of our services.
  • Manage and prioritize leads, opportunities, and sales activities to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and customer support, to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Track and report sales activities, monitor performance metrics, and provide updates to management.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of successful
    B2B sales experience
    , preferably in
    payroll services or a related industry
    .
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong sales acumen with expertise in prospecting, negotiation, and closing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage C-level executives.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficient with sales tools and CRM systems; strong computer and organizational skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary:
    $50,000 – $80,000
    (commensurate with experience)
