The Role

This role sits within a client-facing application support function focused on improving reporting, automation, and workflow efficiency across a global investment platform.

You’ll act as the link between business users and technical teams, owning enhancements to a core reporting and content platform used across client service, marketing, product, and investment teams. The work is visible, structured, and delivery-driven — accuracy, usability, and reliability matter.

This is a good fit for someone early-to-mid career who enjoys systems, data, and process improvement in a financial services environment.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Translating business requirements into clear, scalable system solutions
  • Building and enhancing templates and reports within a reporting platform
  • Performing validation checks, impact analysis, and user acceptance testing
  • Improving workflows and self-service capabilities for business users
  • Analysing existing processes to identify efficiency and risk‑reduction opportunities
  • Partnering across client service, reporting, marketing, and technology teams
  • Evaluating and rolling out new platform features and enhancements
  • Maintaining clear documentation for configurations, workflows, and standards

What They’re Looking For

  • Experience working with reporting or content automation platforms
  • Background in financial services with exposure to client or reporting workflows
  • Strong data analysis skills and comfort working with relational data
  • Working knowledge of SQL; VBA or basic scripting is a plus
  • Advanced Excel and presentation skills
  • Confident communicator who can work across business and technical teams
  • Organised, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities

Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, technical, or business-related discipline
  • Several years of relevant industry experience
  • Familiarity with common delivery and collaboration tools
