Job Overview

We are seeking a Cardiac-Capable Anesthesiologist to join a well-established, collaborative practice in Lakeland, FL. This is a partnership-track role, ideal for candidates seeking long-term growth, autonomy, and professional development within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care for cardiac surgical procedures as well as general surgery cases

  • Collaborate closely with cardiothoracic surgeons, perfusionists, and nursing teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

  • Participate in perioperative planning and preoperative assessments

  • Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care

  • Transition into partnership track, contributing to practice growth, leadership, and strategic decision-making

Qualifications / Requirements

  • MD or DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Anesthesiology

  • Proven experience in cardiac anesthesia cases (required)

  • Active or eligible Florida medical license

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and team collaboration skills

  • Commitment to long-term practice growth and partnership

Preferred / Desirable

  • Completion of a Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship (not mandatory)

  • Interest in leadership or administrative roles within the practice

  • Previous experience mentoring residents or fellows is a plus
