Job Overview
We are seeking a Cardiac-Capable Anesthesiologist to join a well-established, collaborative practice in Lakeland, FL. This is a partnership-track role, ideal for candidates seeking long-term growth, autonomy, and professional development within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia care for cardiac surgical procedures as well as general surgery cases
Collaborate closely with cardiothoracic surgeons, perfusionists, and nursing teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Participate in perioperative planning and preoperative assessments
Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care
Transition into partnership track, contributing to practice growth, leadership, and strategic decision-making
Qualifications / Requirements
MD or DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Anesthesiology
Proven experience in cardiac anesthesia cases (required)
Active or eligible Florida medical license
Strong interpersonal, communication, and team collaboration skills
Commitment to long-term practice growth and partnership
Preferred / Desirable
Completion of a Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship (not mandatory)
Interest in leadership or administrative roles within the practice
Previous experience mentoring residents or fellows is a plus
