Job Overview
The Post/Pre-Op Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients pre-operatively, including reviewing medical histories, performing physical examinations, and identifying potential risks.
- Prepare patients for surgery, including educating them about procedures and post-operative care strategies.
- Receive and conduct comprehensive assessments of patients transferring from the operating room, evaluating their post-anesthesia condition.
The Post/Pre-Op RN ensures patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical recovery period, utilizing advanced clinical skills, effective communication, and adherence to professional standards.
