We are seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team. The Cashier will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while handling transactions efficiently and accurately. This role is essential in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers in a retail or grocery store environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
  • Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately using POS systems.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision.
  • Maintain an organized and clean checkout area.
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding products, services, and store policies.
  • Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining inventory as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cash handling and security procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.

Skills

  • Proven experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
  • Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers.
  • Effective phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
  • Ability to sell products by understanding customer needs and providing recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Available 5 am- 5 pm
