Overview
Centre Manager – Worcester. OTE up to £50,000. Extenstive benefits package. Our client is a national supplier and fitter of tyres and automotive services and requires an experienced Centre Manager based in Worcester.
Our client offers remuneration and benefits including a competitive salary with an OTE up to £50,000, a 42.5 hour working week, 25 days’ annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, auto-enrolment pension, staff discounts, personal development opportunities, vision plan, cycle to work scheme, long service award, uniform and PPE, and company events.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for managing your centre, co-ordinating the workload, delivering company business objectives, and providing excellent customer service. You will maintain centre and health & safety standards and lead your team to consistently deliver excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Manage the centre and coordinate workload to meet company objectives.
- Maintain centre and health & safety standards.
- Lead, motivate and develop the team to deliver excellent customer service.
- Ensure high standards of presentation and core values are demonstrated by the team.
- Lead from the front in customer service and operational delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A confident, experienced and commercially focused manager with a proven background in retail and/or automotive industries.
- Ability to lead and manage a team within a retail outlet.
- Proven track record in developing and maintaining sales.
- Customer-focused with the ability to drive consistent customer service.
- Experience maximising sales and turnover, and ensuring compliance with centre and management standards.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points (licence checks will be conducted).
- Good time management skills and the ability to manage work effectively.
- Proven ability to lead and coach a team to deliver and complete jobs in a timely manner.
- Commitment to health & safety standards at the centre.
- Willingness to embody core values and maintain high presentation standards.
- Desire to continuously learn and improve personal performance.
