Position Highlights:
- Join an established team of Anesthesiologists and participate in the expansion of the anesthetist profession within our community medicine division.
- Full-Time, Monday-Friday, Days
- No weekend work or call
- Combination of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities working with mostly adult patientsincluding: ortho, general surgery, endoscopy, ophthalmology and occasionalpediatric cases
- Primary locations includeIU Health North, West, Saxony and TiptonHospitals.
Qualifications:
- Must hold currentACLSandPALScertifications
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Indiana
Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant:
- Must have graduated with a Master’s degree from aCAAHEPaccredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program
- Must have passed the Certifying Examination for Anesthesiologist Assistants or theCDQexaminationand holdcurrent certification
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist:
- Must have graduated from Master’s level Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs
- Must have passed the National Certification Examinationand holdcurrent certification from the Council of Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
