Changeover Staff- Virginia Beach Dome

The Dome by Rutter Mills is seeking a Changeover Staff Member to keep our venue show ready and create an incredible fan experience. This hands-on role is crucial to our daily and event-day operations.

What This Role Will Do

• Changeover the venue by setting and striking chairs, resetting the concourses and entry, and installing and breaking down temporary fencing.
• Assist in the setup and tear down of 100% of the venue's assets for all events - Chairs, tables, tents, signage, etc.
• Perform regular preventive and general maintenance around the site, buildings, including painting, cleaning, and misc. projects.
• Perform basic plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools in performing duties.
• Operate equipment such as pressure washers and forklifts.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Diagnose safety issues around the site, help prevent potential safety hazards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

What This Person Will Bring

Required:

• Ability to handle multiple tasks/issues at one time effectively, with an upbeat attitude
• Prioritization of duties and effective communication skills
• Able to handle manual labor

Preferred:

• Experience in a live music environment

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

• Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressful
• Position requires extended periods working on your feet: constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying
• Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques
