CMM Quality Technician

Location: Houston, TX 77095
Pay Rate: $24–$26/hr (with potential pay increase after 90 days based on performance)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm & Friday (flexible 4 hours)

TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a CMM Quality Technician with at least 3 years of quality control experience in manufacturing, preferably in metal stamping or precision machining. This role is key in ensuring product quality and compliance with engineering standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections using CMM and standard precision instruments.

  • Create, edit, and adjust CMM programs.

  • Verify first article, in-process, and final parts in accordance with control plans.

  • Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications.

  • Maintain accurate inspection records and support PPAP and FAI documentation.

  • Work within ISO/IATF quality system requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of quality control experience in manufacturing.

  • Proficiency with CMM software (PC-DMIS, Calypso, or equivalent).

  • Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.

  • Experience with PPAP/FAI documentation and ISO/IATF standards preferred.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
