About the Role
As an Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures using CT scanners to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide computed tomography imaging services in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice, ensuring compliance with policies, values, and mission of the organization.
Take on call shift responsibilities as required by the department, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Review patient history and physician's orders, applying knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic criteria.
Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation, promoting a positive patient experience.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field.
Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Computed Tomography.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
