Job Details

The Controller will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations and lead a team of four accountants. This role reports directly to the CFO and will be instrumental in enhancing the company’s financial infrastructure, including the implementation of a new ERP system and the development of scalable accounting policies and procedures that align with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four accountants, ensuring a high-performing and collaborative work environment
Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, and payroll accounting
Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Support the CFO in implementing a new ERP system, including requirements gathering, process mapping, testing, and training
Establish and document new accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to support growth and compliance
Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and supply chain teams to improve inventory management and cost accounting
Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies as needed

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA required
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or Controller role
Experience in the manufacturing industry strongly preferred
Proven experience with ERP system implementation (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
High level of integrity and attention to detail
