Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in elementary education within a school setting. This contract position focuses on supporting students in grades K-5, with the potential for various openings across K-12 and an Extended School Year (ESY) option.

Location:

  • Fayetteville, NC

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students in grades K-5
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Monitor and document student outcomes and adjust strategies as needed
  • Participate in team meetings and provide consultation as required

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with elementary-age children (K-5) in school settings
  • Strong understanding of speech and language development and disorders
  • Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and collaborate with staff

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly rate ranging from $36.52 to $50.62, based on experience and qualifications
