We are a fast-paced Texas family law firm seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to step into an established caseload. This role replaces a departing paralegal whose cases are current and well-maintained; there is no backlog or cleanup required.
This position is ideal for a paralegal who thrives on autonomy, takes ownership of their work, and values professionalism, clear boundaries, and mutual respect.
Compensation:$55,000 - $75,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Draft original petitions, answers, counterpetitions, motions, discovery, and orders
- Prepare and manage discovery (requests, responses, supplementation)
- Draft mediation summaries and trial prep materials
- Maintain client communication and manage expectations
- Calendar and track deadlines
- Communicate with opposing counsel professionally and strategically
- Assist attorneys in trial preparation
Only applicants with relevant Family Law experience will be considered for this position.
- 3+ years of Texas family law experience (required)
- Strong drafting ability (samples may be requested)
- Experience managing a large caseload
- Proficient in e-filing and Texas court procedures
- Organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
