Overview

The Community Health Center of Buffalo, Inc. (CHCB) is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician to join their diverse and well-established health center. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate physical and psycho-social health status via medical history and physical examination.
  • Diagnose and treat medical conditions within the family medicine specialty.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests, consultations, and recommend therapeutic measures.
  • Provide education and preventive healthcare.
  • Offer clinical direction to healthcare team members.
  • Adhere to clinical policies, infection control principles, and confidentiality standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Direct and evaluate medical students.

Qualifications

  • Medical license registration certificate for the state of New York.
  • DEA license registration certificate for the state of New York.
  • Computer literacy including proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications

  • American Board Certification.
  • Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
  • CFP Authorization Number under NYS Worker’s Compensation.
  • Hospital Privileges.
  • Professional Membership Affiliations.

Physical Demands

This role requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping. Evening work along with some Saturdays may be required.

Salary Range

$190,000 - $200,000.
