Gastroenterology Physician

• Schedule: ASAP - Ongoing

• Job Setting: 192 bed hospital

• Types of Cases: 20 patient encounters per shift. Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), and injection of varices; ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic); Small bowel biopsy; Lower GI endoscopy; Flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy; Colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp; Liver biopsy

• Credentialing: 60 days

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Eligible

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS

• Licensure: Kentucky state license, will consider IMLC
