Finance Lead

Our client, an AI technology company focused on enterprise decision‑making, is seeking a Finance Lead to build its finance function from the ground up.

Location: This position will be hybrid in San Francisco, CA.

Job Description: This is a high‑impact role for someone who thrives in fast‑paced, early‑stage environments and wants to design scalable systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and own finance infrastructure, including accounting, payroll, payments, and expense management systems.
• Manage month‑end close and financial reporting across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee cash flow, forecasting, and treasury operations to provide visibility into company performance.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning to inform strategic decisions.
• Develop and track key financial metrics, creating dashboards and reports for actionable insights.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A, ideally with investment banking and startup experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and operational finance; IFRS experience a plus.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable finance systems and processes.
• Experience managing multi‑entity operations and coordinating with external accountants and advisors.
• Detail‑oriented, autonomous, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
