Responsibilities
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership and set the standard of practice for your area of expertise.
- Serve as a senior technical advisor to multiple projects with complex technical challenges.
- Drive outstanding project delivery and support successful team performance, especially for multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Establish a quality culture and support innovative solutions to advance design and technical excellence organization‑wide.
- Mentor and develop other professionals to elevate the practice across HDR.
- Attract highly qualified candidates to grow and strengthen the practice.
- Establish client relationships and identify opportunities to win business and expand the practice.
- Serve as a thought leader in your area of expertise, enhancing HDR’s capabilities.
- Represent HDR in professional communities, building the firm’s reputation as a world‑class provider.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with an engineering consulting firm.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- A minimum of 20 years of experience.
- Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location (e.g., PE or P.Eng).
- Extensive experience in project execution.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and standard design software.
- Comfortable serving as a technical expert in engineering analysis and design with proven technical leadership.
