Unifi Aviation is seeking a hands-on, results-driven Industrial Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our Airport Operations team to analyze and improve operational processes with a focus on efficiency, performance, ROI, and customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in identifying areas of opportunity, recommending data-driven solutions, and helping implement these improvements across our locations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing operational workflows, resource allocation, and key performance indicators (KPIs) within airport operations.
- Collaborate with Operations and various Unifi teams to develop and validate performance improvement initiatives.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to optimize throughput, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
- Develop models, tools, and dashboards to track performance, productivity, and progress of implemented solutions.
- Support and lead implementation of process improvements, including on-site coordination, pilot programs, and feedback loops.
- Create and present compelling business cases for proposed changes based on data and projected ROI.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on performance improvements and project milestones.
- Serve as a change agent and advocate for continuous improvement across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial engineering, operations analysis, or process improvement (experience in aviation industry is a plus).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets.
- Proficient in tools such as Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and process modeling software; experience with SQL or Python is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to successful completion.
- Willingness to be hands-on in airport environments and collaborate directly with front-line teams.
