The Mason City Clinic (MCC) in Mason City, Iowa has an excellent opportunity for a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist to join the Cardiology department. The Mason City Clinic is a multi-specialty physician-owned group.

Opportunity Highlights

* Join the busy practice of 10 physicians, 10 fellows, and 7 NPs

* 1:4 call rotation with opportunity for excess call +$1,500 per diem & fellows taking 1st call!

* Practice includes inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic services

* Full range of cardiology services, including non-invasive, invasive, interventional, & EP working together with cardiac surgery & vascular surgery services. Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and cardioversions required.

* Growing structural heart center: established TAVR program, Active LAAO/Watchman program, Existing heart team infrastructure (CT surgery, imaging, anesthesia), registry participation (TVT, LAAO, NCDR)

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required. Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible. Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges. Above average communication skills. Ability to work with a team. Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
