The Systems Administrator is responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, networks, and servers of customers serviced and supported by RezolveIT, LLC. The Systems Administrator will install hardware and software, participate in research and development to proactively and continuously improve and keep up with the IT business needs, and actively respond and troubleshoot problems that arise in a timely manner.

*Duties and responsibilities*

The primary duties and responsibilities of the Systems Administrator include but are not limited to the following:

* Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization, ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
* Manages Active Directory/Azure Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, File Server, NTFS permissions and other Windows Server features
* Upgrade systems with new releases and manage system automation where possible.
* Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance of all Managed Customers
* Manages day-to-day administration of firewalls and other network devices such as switches, wireless access points, printers, and scanners
* Configures and supports VPN Client and site to site as well as Firewall rules and security features
* Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
* Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
* Provide and maintain documentation and technical specifications for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
* Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
* Manages support requests within the PSA tool (Atera), where clients are managed as well as where time keeping is entered
* Adapts or enhances daily value in existing methods, recommending best practices and redundancy to ensure continuity of business
* Research new technologies and presents recommendations xhqgsiq on major hardware and software purchases for the enterprise
