* Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30 pm.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Lead Teacher in a preschool setting.
* Maintain teacher certification and hold the State minimum requirements for childcare teachers.
* Member of a Christian Church.
* Within each one (1) year period after assuming the position of teacher, complete 25 hours of early childhood continuing education as approved by the Director.
*CLASSROOM RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Plans and conducts daily experiences for the children based on Trinity Family Center objectives and goals. Prepares all materials required to conduct and carry out a planned program.
* Promote and supervise activities that enhance the emotional, social, intellectual, physical, and spiritual development of each child.
* Supervise all activities to ensure the safety of each child at all times. Report all _major_ accidents to the Director. Record all _minor _accidents in the classroom safety log.
* Provide and maintain a neat, organized classroom; take responsibility for upkeep of educational equipment and materials. Assure equipment is accessible and in good condition.
* Supervise and participate in mealtime (breakfast, lunch, snacks), rest time, outdoor play and all activities of the children.
* Aware of the location of all children assigned to their care at all times.
* Familiar with all school policies, fire plans and first aid procedures.
* Discuss with parents the progress and activities of their child in the childcare room.
* Keep all information about children and parents confidential.
*GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Maintain prompt attendance, notifying the Director of any absence in the event of illness.
* Attend and participate in staff meetings and staff in-service as scheduled.
* Participate in the year-end evaluation of the program.
* Follows the personnel policies of Trinity Schools as established by the Board of Trinity Schools.
* Help in the set-up and take-down of the classroom, as needed.
