*Responsibilities*

* Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 5+ full stack engineers delivering high-impact applications.
* Take ownership of the architecture, development, and ongoing evolution of approximately 15 Python-based applications using Flask and FastAPI, remaining hands-on in critical areas.
* Architect, build, and optimize cloud-native, containerized solutions on AWS with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
* Advance modern CI/CD practices to support fast, dependable delivery across engineering teams.
* Act as a trusted technical advisor, presenting solutions to non-technical stakeholders and translating business objectives into well-designed engineering solutions.
* Promote a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning across the engineering organization.
* Explore and integrate AI/ML capabilities into both applications and engineering workflows to improve efficiency and insight.
* Stay current on industry trends to keep the organization competitive within the private equity and FinTech landscape.

*Qualifications*

* Strong hands-on experience as a full stack engineer with deep expertise in Python, Flask, and FastAPI.
* Proven background leading engineering teams in modern, cloud-first environments.
* Solid knowledge of AWS, containerization, and distributed system design.
* Demonstrated success designing and scaling CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or similar.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both engineers and business leaders.
* A balanced mindset that combines technical depth with commercial awareness in fast-paced, high-impact environments.

*Preferred Skills*

* Experience working with TypeScript and React.
* Background in financial services, private equity, asset management, or consulting.
* Practical experience applying AI or ML in products or workflow automation.
* Familiarity with Snowflake, DBT, and modern data engineering tools. xhqgsiq
