Locums Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking a BoardCertified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenensopportunity in Fredericksburg, Texas. This assignment offers 12-hour shiftcoverage with both day and night shifts available. Position Details:

• Shift Length:12-hourshifts
• Coverage:24-hourcoverage (AM and PM shifts)
• Assignment Type:Ongoinglocums,considered prn or “as needed”- no finite contract end date.
• Patient Population:Allages-Rural setting
• Annual ED Volume:10k-12k
• EMR System:Meditech

Travel:Alltravel expenses reimbursed 100% on top of rate (flights, hotel, mileage orrental+ fuel, parking, tolls)

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency care topatients of all ages
• Diagnose and treat a broad range ofacute conditions
• Work collaboratively with nurses, APPs,and support staff
• Maintain thorough and timelydocumentation

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible inEmergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM preferred; will consider FM/IM with EMexperience in rural settings)
• Active Texas medical license (or abilityto obtain)
• Current DEA
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certificationsrequired
• Emergency Medicine experience required
