Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at the newly opened freestanding emergency room in Panama City, FL. This state of the art facility offers modern, patient-focused emergency care in an 11,000-square-foot environment. The emergency room features 11 bays, including a fully equipped trauma bay, separate adult and pediatric waiting areas, and all private treatment rooms to ensure patient privacy and comfort.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients presenting at the freestanding emergency room.
  • Manage a variety of medical emergencies using the fully equipped trauma bay and private treatment rooms.
  • Communicate effectively with EMS personnel to ensure smooth patient transitions from ambulance to emergency room care.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with other healthcare providers to facilitate seamless care handoffs for patients needing inpatient admission.

Qualifications

  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
  • Florida Licensed
