Locums OBGYN Physician in Mason City, Iowa - 24 Hour Shifts, Flexible Blocks

Work as an OB hospitalist in a teaching facility in Iowa with flexible block scheduling and in-house shift coverage. This role offers a mix of clinical care and resident interaction.

Practice & Cases

• Hospital-based birthing center with full inpatient coverage
• Manage labor and delivery, including high and low-risk cases
• Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Handle urgent OB and gynecologic consults and procedures

Schedule

• 24-hour in-house shifts
• Approximately 4 shifts per month
• Ability to group shifts into multi-day blocks
• Ongoing coverage with open dates across upcoming months

Requirements

• Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active Iowa license required
• BLS certification required

Logistics

• Travel and lodging provided
• Rental car or mileage reimbursement available
