Mammography Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and excellent patient care skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform breast imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Analyze images and identify issues with image quality.
• Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Select appropriate imaging parameters.
• Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful as a Mammography Technologist, you must have:

• A degree from an accredited program in Radiology.
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• One year of experience as a technologist in a healthcare setting.
