*Job Description*: Welder is responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures using various welding techniques

*Primary Responsibilities:*

* Performs required daily preventative maintenance
* Welder is responsible for set-up and operation of welding equipment
* Solve problems and eliminate scrap, rework and downtime while effectively repairing defective products.
* Perform quality inspections to ensure welds meet specifications and standards, identifying and addressing any flaws.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications, weld symbols and engineering drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble metal structures.
* Perform advanced welding operations using various techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, stick welding).
* Operate robot welding equipment also torches, hand tools, clamps, jigs, fixtures and specialized machines, while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
* Sets up, troubleshoots and makes advanced adjustments to the weld process as needed to maintain good production and quality.
* Maintain clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
* Document actions by completing production and quality forms
* Other duties as assigned

*Requirements:*

* Applicant must have manufacturing assembly experience and/or high level of mechanical aptitude
* Applications must have good communication skills
* Applicants must be detail oriented, dependable, and work well in a team environment.
* Applicants must be able to bend, stoop, reach high and low, work at a constant pace, and lift and carry up to 60 pounds. xhqgsiq
* Build defect-free products that meet Quality Standards
* Build products within time standards
* Adhere to safety standards and requirements
* Knowledge of metallurgy
* Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques

*Preferred Experience:*

* AWS D1.1 1G Welding Certification
* Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints to ensure products are machined correctly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
