Essential Job Duties

The purpose is to conduct outreach and raise public awareness of the NC Oyster Trail: The intern will support efforts to develop opportunities for shellfish mariculture (marine aquaculture) tourism throughout North Carolina.

The primary job duties are the following:

• Promote shellfish mariculture tourism experiences for the NC Oyster Trail

• Develop communication products (e.g. social media content, blogposts, fact sheets, e-

newsletter, website updates) to share opportunities for mariculture tourism

• Conduct outreach at public events like coastal festivals and oyster tastings
