Mobile Barista - Travelin' Tom's

As a Mobile Coffee Truck Barista, you'll be the face of our brand, serving up a variety of espresso-based beverages to our customers. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a passion for coffee, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a smile, take orders, and provide excellent customer service, ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
• Craft a variety of drinks ensuring consistency and quality with every cup.
• Ensure the coffee truck is clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies. Help with basic maintenance and restocking of equipment as needed.
• Process transactions accurately using cash or POS system and ensure proper cash handling procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels, inform the manager of low stock, and help with restocking supplies.
• Adhere to health and safety standards, ensuring food and drink preparation areas are sanitized and safe at all times.
• Represent our brand positively in the community, encouraging customer loyalty and repeat business.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and an enjoyable work environment.

Requirements:

• Previous barista experience preferred, but not required. We're happy to train the right candidate!
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, mobile environment.
• Passion for coffee and creating great customer experiences.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a flexible schedule and be available for early mornings, weekends, and occasional evening shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (e.g., coffee beans, equipment, and supplies).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (driving the coffee truck will be required).
• Must be 18 years of age.
