Job Summary and Responsibilities
CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Internal Medicine Nocturnist to join our well-established hospital-employed group.
This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care within a regional healthcare leader, consistently recognized as the #1 Best Regional Hospital in Chattanooga by U.S. News & World Report for 11 consecutive years (and TN's #4), and holding a consistent 'A' Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: 153 shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
- Focus: Inpatient care for adults, no Peds, OB, or Trauma. No codes (Rapid Response Team handles), no after-hours call.
- Support: Reasonable census, closed ICUs staffed by Intensivists.
- Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, treat, prescribe, order/interpret tests, and manage discharge planning for inpatients.
- Compensation: Competitive Base Salary, Commencement Bonus, Quality Incentive Bonus, & Longevity Bonus.

Job Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine
- Ability to obtain an active medical license & DEA for Tennessee and Georgia
- AHA BLS certification
