UNC WAYNE IS HIRING A SWING SHIFT PHYSICIAN IN GOLDSBORO, NC

UNC Health Wayne is looking for BC/BE hospitalist to join the growing Hospital Medicine program in Goldsboro, NC. This position involves delivering high-quality, team-based inpatient services. This position involves admitting and was designed to help both the day and the night team, while creating a shift that increases flexibility for all team members. This position does not require any procedures. Our practice prioritizes maximizing work-life balance with collaboration and teamwork.

Goldsboro is located one hour east of Raleigh, the vibrant state capital, and 90 minutes from the NC coast. Schedule: 3:00pm – 3:00am (9 hours of admissions followed by 3 hours of cross coverage) *There is some flexibility in shift start times

UNC Wayne is a modern facility with 316 Acute Care Beds and a 120+ year history

• 38 Emergency Beds
• 4 Trauma beds
• 4 Behavioral Health Beds
• 15 Bed ICU
• 8 Bed Labor and Delivery Unit
• 26 Bed Nursery
• 22 Bed Behavioral Health Unit
• Closed ICU

EMR: EPIC

Requirements:

• Graduated from an accredited Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy school
• Internal Medicine Residency preferred
• BC/BE
