Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to patients in a respectful and professional manner.
- Support the physician by identifying immediate and long-term care needs, providing insightful recommendations, and implementing the physician's plan of action.
- Conduct patient assessments through interviews, physical exams, and comprehensive review of medical histories.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, updating records as needed.
- Perform medical procedures such as administering injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound management.
- Offer guidance and support to patients, educating them on treatment plans, development stages, emotional well-being, and health maintenance.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans for ongoing patient management.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment by adhering to institutional protocols and guidelines.
- Uphold infection-control measures to protect both patients and staff.
- Stay current with legal and professional requirements, ensuring full compliance with regulations at the local, state, and federal levels.
- Enhance professional knowledge by engaging in continuous learning opportunities, including workshops and professional networking.
- Support the growth and development of healthcare team members through education and mentoring.
- Contribute to team efforts by completing related tasks as needed.
- Strong focus on health promotion, clinical skills, bedside manner, and infection control.
- Expertise in administering medications, pain management, and self-development.
- Must be Board Certified.
- Previous hospital experience will be considered an asset.
