The institution operates with 24-hour coverage capabilities and Level 1 Nursery services to support emergency obstetric and gynecologic cases requiring immediate intervention.

Burien, WA, is a diverse and growing suburban city 10 miles south of Seattle, offering an urban-suburban mix with a walkable downtown, diverse restaurants, and close proximity to Sea-Tac Airport. It is known for its small-town charm, six miles of Puget Sound shoreline, and popular spots like Seahurst Park.

The clinician will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services through 24-hour call coverage managing labor and delivery patients, gynecologic emergencies, and emergency department consultations. Primary responsibilities include performing vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and necessary gynecologic surgeries while providing triage services after receiving reports from registered nurses. The position requires managing Level 1 Nursery coverage and assisting certified nurse midwives and family practice obstetricians during assigned shifts. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required with continuous availability for emergency obstetric and gynecologic cases.
