Position: Shuttle Driver & Vehicle Porter
Location : Phoenix, AZ (Sky Harbor area)
Companies : Airport Parking PHX & Desert Drives
Role Summary
We're hiring a dependable Shuttle Driver & Vehicle Porter to support daily airport parking and rental operations. This role combines customer-facing shuttle driving with behind-the-scenes vehicle movement and staging. Safety, professionalism, and reliability are essential.
What You'll Do Shuttle Operations
- Drive customers safely to and from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.
- Assist with luggage and provide friendly, professional service.
- Follow assigned routes, schedules, and all airport traffic rules.
- Perform quick pre‐ and post‐trip vehicle checks.
Vehicle Porting
- Park, retrieve, stage, and reposition customer and fleet vehicles.
- Move Desert Drives vehicles between parking, cleaning, and service locations.
- Secure vehicles and ensure they're parked in assigned areas.
- Perform visual inspections (damage, cleanliness, fuel level).
- Assist with light tasks such as fueling, jump‐starts, or moving vehicles for service.
Safety & Accountability
- Comply with all traffic laws, airport rules, and company procedures.
- Immediately report incidents, damage, or safety concerns.
- Handle customer property and company vehicles with care.
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license and clean driving record.
- Comfortable driving vans, sedans, and compact vehicles.
- Ability to work in a fast‐paced airport environment.
- Strong time management and attention to detail.
- Able to lift up to ~50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods.
Pay & Schedule (Phoenix Market)
- $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience
- Performance raises available after 90 days
- Tips earned on shuttle routes (shift-dependent)
Performance Incentives
- Attendance Bonus : Bonus available for each full pay period with no call-outs or late arrivals
- Safety Bonus : Monthly bonus for zero preventable accidents or vehicle damage
