Pharmacy Technician in South Lake Tahoe, CA

An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient pharmacy operations at a reputable 100-bed hospital in South Lake Tahoe, CA. This contract position requires a dedicated professional with a California pharmacy technician license and approximately one year of relevant experience. You will be essential to maintaining efficient and accurate medication dispensing within a dynamic hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inpatient pharmacy technician duties, ensuring accurate and timely distribution of medications
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management and documentation
• Collaborate with pharmacists and medical staff to support optimal patient care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician license required
• Approximately one year of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a hospital setting
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Ability to work full-time on a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
