Were seeking a passionate and driven Part-Time Physician to join our Pediatric Hospital Medicine team located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

As a valued member of our team, you will serve as a Pediatric Hospitalist providing comprehensive inpatient medical care to hospitalized children, including newborn care and delivery attendance. You will collaborate closely with the Emergency Department, as well as a multidisciplinary care team including nursing staff, case management, social work, and allied health professionals to ensure high-quality, family-centered care across the continuum of pediatric hospital medicine.

  • Position Type: Part time (0.60)

  • Schedule: Mix of 7- and 13.5-hour day and night shifts. Templated schedule allows for flexibility and advanced planning for work life balance.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics

  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)

  • DEA license

  • PALS/NRP certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Providing direct patient care

  • Delivery Attendance

  • Perform circumcisions; training will be provided for candidates who are not certified.

  • ED Pediatric consults

  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

  • Participating in teaching and mentoring

  • Documenting in Epic EMR

  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives

  • Supporting community health efforts
