*What we are looking for! *
* Certification or degree in Veterinary Technology.
* Preferred 1-3 years of experience; however, open to a new grad!
* Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
* Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, dental terminology, and veterinary critical care practices.
* Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis.
* Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the veterinarian.
* Monitor animal patients during anesthesia and recovery.
* Conduct X-rays and maintain imaging equipment.
* Provide basic grooming services for pets as needed.
* Handle dogs and other animals safely and effectively.
* Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
* Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members.
* Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
* Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment.
* A compassionate attitude towards animals and their well-being is essential.
