ASPIRE VETERINARY CENTER is looking to hire an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team (part- or full-time).

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform an initial examination of the patient, including physical examination, medical history, vital signs, and radiographs.
* Perform various technical procedures including anesthesia support and monitoring, intubation, intravenous catheter placement, venipuncture, intravenous injections, wound management, drug administration assistance, bandage care, surgery support, and various routine diagnostic testing.
* Prepare animals and equipment for diagnostic, medical, and surgical procedures.
* Collect and perform laboratory procedures on blood, stool, urine, and tissue samples.
* Educate clients on patient care.
* Generate and explain client treatment plans and estimates.
* Perform dental procedures (e.g. prophylactic cleaning and polishing, chart dentition, dental extractions which are within the scope of an RVT, dental radiographs).
* Operate, maintain, and sterilize surgical, dental and other technical equipment (e.g. EKG, fluid pump, syringe pump, scales, anesthetic monitors and machines).
* Perform nail trims, express anal glands, and remove sutures.
* Perform ear cleanings and minor flushes.

* Proficiency in Veterinary Practice Management Software (e.g. DaySmart, Cornerstone, Neo, Avimark, ezyVet).
* At least 3 years of veterinary clinic experience.
* Customer service experience.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
