*The Role:*

AlderLaw is seeking an accomplished *Senior Trial Attorney* to join our elite personal injury trial team. This role is designed for a seasoned litigator with extensive courtroom experience who can independently manage high-stakes cases, lead trial strategy, and serve as a senior contributor within the firm.

The ideal candidate has *7+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury trial experience*, a strong trial record, and the confidence to take cases from intake through verdict. This position offers meaningful autonomy, leadership opportunity, and the support of a deeply experienced litigation team.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Lead and manage a docket of complex *catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases* from inception through trial and resolution

* Develop and execute trial strategy, including case theory, discovery plans, and motion practice

* Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts

* Draft, argue, and oversee dispositive motions, evidentiary motions, and pre-trial filings

* Serve as lead or first-chair trial attorney, including jury selection, opening statements, direct and cross-examination, and closing arguments

* Lead mediations, arbitrations, and high-level settlement negotiations

* Collaborate with junior attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support staff to drive cases forward efficiently

* Maintain strong, professional client relationships and provide clear guidance throughout the litigation process

* Represent AlderLaw with professionalism in court, mediations, and the legal community

*Qualifications:*

* J.D. from an accredited law school and *active California Bar membership*

* *7+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience*, including multiple jury trials

* Demonstrated success handling complex, high-value cases

* Exceptional legal writing, oral advocacy, and trial presentation skills

* Strong leadership presence with the ability to mentor and collaborate

* Highly organized, strategic, and results-driven

* Passion for trial work and representing individuals against insurance companies and corporate defendants
