Chemours is seeking a Maintenance and Reliability Manager to join our growing Operations team. This position will be available at our DeLisle, MS location and report directly to the Plant Manager.

The Maintenance and Reliability Manager will have responsibility for maintenance execution, planning, stores, reliability, mechanical integrity, and quality assurance in a high hazard operation. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong change leadership and team building skills.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Accountable for the EHS performance, cost and efficiency of the site maintenance and reliability organization
  • Set direction and standards for asset care
  • Drive OEE/reliability improvement
  • Establish and utilize KPI's to ensure transparency and improve WMP/RMP performance
  • Identify short and long term KPI targets along with plans to drive towards targets
  • Partner with Operations and MT leadership to ensure WMP/RMP is adequately supported
  • Network with M&R leaders across the company to leverage and implement learnings
  • Implement maintenance and reliability best practices across organization
  • Develop and implement CCMS strategy to support site needs
  • Leads site maintenance leadership team
  • Develop short and long-term strategies for the M&R organization
  • Develop a strong cost management structure that identifies opportunities for both short and long-term actions that optimize cost
  • Develop direct reports, other leaders and subordinates through training, extensive use of taskteams and collaborative problem solving


The following is required for this role:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry, leading maintenance and reliability programs, and managing direct reports or equivalent Military experience
  • Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) and Highly Hazardous Processes (HHP), specifically the safe management of change, PHAs and Mechanical Integrity/Quality Assurance (MIQA) programs
  • Strong technical, analytical, team building and organizational change leadership skills. Ability to define current states, opportunities, strategies, and a plan to achieve an improved future state
  • Strong interpersonal and influence management skills
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP-PM, SAP-MM & Maintenance Work Management Systems


The following is preferred for this role:
  • Experience in continuous improvement (Six Sigma or Lean)
  • Professional Reliability Certification, ex. CRE, CRP, CRL, CMRP, RE Certificate
  • Familiar with national standards such as API 510 & 570
