A school-based bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-5 students within a dynamic independent school district in the Arlington, TX area. This role is ideal for a licensed professional who is fluent in both English and Spanish and passionate about assisting young learners with speech and language needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas SLP license required
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish essential
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to conduct evaluations and write detailed reports
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Location:
- On-site in Arlington, TX with hybrid flexibility (one remote day per week for report writing)
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a vital member of the districts evaluation team, covering multiple campuses primarily serving K-5 students
- Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Utilize district resources such as test kits, computers, and internal communication systems
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to support student progress
- Work up to 30 hours per week with a flexible schedule between full and part-time
