A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite services in a school setting. This role is designated for the school year (CSY) and requires a professional to deliver therapy primarily to elementary-level students. The position demands a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, fostering communication skill development within the student population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting elementary-aged children.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other educational staff to support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts to enhance educational outcomes.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC), completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) credential required.
  • Experience working within a school-based environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of speech and language disorders in children.
  • Ability to work onsite consistently and engage with students in a school setting.
