Special Ed Teacher - Seattle, Washington

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support high school students aged 14-18 in a Seattle, WA location. This contract role runs through June 23, 2026, following the typical school calendar schedule, providing a full 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday. With a manageable caseload of 25 students at a single school site, this position offers a focused and impactful teaching experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Co-teaching three English classes alongside general education teachers
• Managing individualized education plans (IEPs) and case management duties
• Delivering two Executive Function classes emphasizing work completion, self-advocacy, goal setting, organization, and academic as well as personal time management skills
• Providing after-school tutorial support tailored to students needs as necessary

• Current licensure in Special Education
