This full-time Special Education Teacher position offers an opportunity to provide support within a resource setting for elementary students with mild to moderate disabilities. The role involves working part-time at two elementary schools in Lakeville, MN, delivering a half day at each site Monday through Friday on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instruction aligned with individual IEP goals
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
  • Develop, implement, and manage IEPs including progress monitoring and data collection
  • Maintain regular communication with families and educational support teams to foster student success

Qualifications:

  • Active Minnesota Special Education teaching license with any qualifying endorsement (LD, EBD, ASD, etc.)
  • Experience in a resource setting is highly preferred
  • Strong organizational and collaborative skills to support diverse student needs

Position Details:

  • Location: Lakeville, MN
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, part-time split between two elementary schools (half day at each)
  • Contract duration: ASAP start through June 11, 2026
  • Caseload includes pull-out services and collaborative inclusion support for various grade levels
